THE ONCE MOST DANGEROUS ROAD CAN BE FOUND IN BOLIVIA
the so called “Death Road” – Yungas road is  descending from 4,650 metres (15,260 ft) at La Cumbre Pass to 1,200 metres (3,900 ft). Its name as the “Road of Death” is due to the many accidents. Most of the road is the width of a single vehicle, about 3.2 metre with cliffs to its side which are up to 600 meters (2,000 feet), making it a risky ride.
